Every detail designed with seniors in mind

    About Us

Dedicated to quality elderly care with compassion and respect always

Our name — Sparsh — means touch, compassion and connection. It's the philosophy behind everything we do. We were founded to close a real gap in aged care access across regional and remote NT, with a particular focus on Alice Springs, Tennant Creek and Katherine, alongside services in Darwin and Palmerston. We understand that quality aged care isn't one-size-fits-all.

Our team brings genuine cultural knowledge and community connection, working closely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and culturally diverse families to deliver care that respects individual identity, culture and choice. Every Sparsh client is supported by a dedicated care team, backed by qualified clinical oversight and a governance framework built around safety, dignity and continuous improvement.

We're proud to be a genuinely local provider — not a distant call centre — with people on the ground who understand the communities we serve. We also partner with other aged care providers as an associate provider, helping deliver services on their behalf where they need additional capacity, local reach or specialist support in the Northern Territory. If you're a registered provider looking for a reliable partner in NT, we'd welcome the conversation.

Support at Home is the Australian Government's aged care program that helps older Australians receive funded care and services in their own home, based on an individual assessment through My Aged Care.

Eligibility is determined by My Aged Care through an assessment. If you already have a Support at Home classification, you can choose Sparsh as your provider. If you haven't been assessed yet, we can help guide you through the process.

We primarily service Alice Springs, Tennant Creek and Katherine, with services also available in Darwin and Palmerston.

Most clinical services are fully government-funded. Personal care and domestic assistance may involve a means-tested contribution, which Services Australia will confirm for you. We're always upfront about costs — see our fee schedule or contact us for details.

We do our best to match you with a consistent, familiar support worker and take your preferences seriously, including cultural background and gender preference where relevant
